For schools · Cashless school payments

Take cash out of the school day.

Students pay with a contactless card at the canteen, bookshop, co-operative or school office. Parents fund it from a wallet and decide the daily limit. Operators get a terminal, a receipt for every sale and settlement to their bank account.

Program sekolah tanpa tunai — murid membeli di kantin dan kedai buku menggunakan kad pelajar pada terminal EDC.

The problem

What gets in the way today

  • Pocket money is lost, forgotten or spent without parents knowing.
  • Canteen queues slow down when every sale needs change.
  • Operators carry cash and close the day by counting it by hand.
  • Schools have no shared record of what was bought, where and when.

What changes with Orijin

  • Shorter queues, no change to count
  • Parents set and see spending
  • Every transaction recorded and traceable
  • Students learn to manage money in a safe setting

How it works

Step by step

  1. Student card

Each student carries an NFC Orijin School Card with their photo and school name.

  2. Family wallet

Parents top up in the BSN Orijin School app and set a daily limit per child.

  3. Counter terminal

Canteens and bookshops take payment on Orijin EDC terminals, with a printed receipt.

  4. Visibility

Every purchase is recorded and shown to the parent; operators see their sales.
