Orijin Gerbang · Online payment gateway

Accept every common Malaysian payment method through one gateway.

Orijin’s online payment gateway (OPG) lets organisations collect payments on the web, in apps and at physical counters. It has been used by government agencies and large corporates since 2012 and processes more than 5 million transactions worth around RM6 billion every year.

MARAeps payment portal built on the Orijin gateway

Why it exists

The problem it solves

In a traditional set-up, merchants stitch together a gateway, a payment service provider, an acquirer and separate risk tools. Each hand-off adds cost, delays settlement and makes reconciliation harder.

Who uses it

  • Government agencies
  • Large corporates
  • SMEs & e-commerce
  • E-wallet operators

Benefits

  • Better checkout experience for customers
  • Lower processing costs
  • Faster settlement
  • One report across online and in-store payments

Workflow

How it works

  1. Customer pays

On your website, app, hosted payment page or an Orijin terminal.

  2. Orijin processes

Risk checks, routing and processing in one payment engine.

  3. Networks & acquirers

Routed to FPX/DuitNow, card schemes, e-money issuers or the acquiring bank.

  4. Reconciled & settled

Transactions are reconciled and monitored; settlement reports feed your finance systems.

Redefining payment flows

Fewer hand-offs between merchant and issuer

In a traditional set-up each role is a different provider. Orijin combines gateway, risk management, processing and acquiring, fraud management, reconciliation and monitoring in one payment engine.

FPX, DuitNow and eMandate; Visa and Mastercard (3-D Secure, non-3D, pre-authorisation, saved card and card binding); e-wallets; and in-store payments through Orijin EDC and Soundbox terminals.

Can SELARI® work with our existing banks and accounting system?

Is the platform built in-house?

Yes. Our gateway, wallet, reconciliation and treasury products run on our own proprietary payment technology, built on a single code base.

What security standards do you follow?

Our gateway is PCI DSS compliant, and our services are designed to comply with ITSEC, ISO/BS/MS and PCI requirements, backed by intelligent fraud prevention and a risk management policy.
