Orijin School · Parent app & wallet

One app for a child’s school money, attendance and outings.

Parents top up a wallet, link their children’s student cards, set a daily spending limit and get notified when a card is used at the canteen or tapped at the school gate. Available on the App Store and Google Play as “BSN Orijin School”.

Why it exists

The problem it solves

Pocket money handed over in cash is easy to lose, impossible to track and gives parents no say in how it is spent. Schools, meanwhile, spend time handling cash, chasing fee payments and recording attendance and outings on paper.

Untuk ibu bapa: Tambah nilai dompet, tetapkan had perbelanjaan harian anak, dan terima notifikasi kehadiran serta pembelian di kantin — semuanya dalam aplikasi BSN Orijin School.

Features

What it does

School wallet (Dompet Anda)

A single wallet for the family. Top up with “Tambah Nilai”; the balance can be hidden on screen with one tap.

Card list (Kad Anda)

Every child’s student card in one place, with separate views for student (Murid) and guardian (Penjaga) cards.

Daily limit (Had Harian)

Set how much each child can spend per day, using quick amounts (RM5, RM10, RM30, RM50) or any custom value.

Transactions (Transaksi)

Each card payment at the canteen, bookshop or co-op appears in the app, so spending is visible line by line.

Attendance (Kehadiran)

See when a child’s card was tapped at the school’s attendance terminal, with a notification to the parent.

Outing requests

Submit and track student outing requests, with outing history recorded against the student.

School fees (Yuran)

Pay school bills and fees from the same app.

Buy a card (Beli Kad) & shop (Kedai)

Register and pay for student cards in the app, plus a shop module for school products.

Verified accounts

Adults (18+) hold the primary account; children are added as supplementary users. eKYC unlocks higher wallet limits.

FAQ

Questions from parents & students

Who can open an Orijin School account?

The primary account holder must be an adult aged 18 or above. Children under 18 are added by the adult as supplementary users (“Trusted Persons”) and use their Orijin School Card to spend from the shared wallet.

Can I control how much my child spends?

Yes. In the BSN Orijin School app you set a daily limit (Had Harian) for each child’s card — choose RM5, RM10, RM30, RM50 or enter your own amount. Card payments stop once the day’s limit is reached.

How do I add money to the wallet?

Tap “Tambah Nilai” on the wallet in the app and follow the payment steps shown. Fees and charges, where they apply, are published in the Product Disclosure Sheet at school.orijin.my.

Is the wallet regulated?

Wallet balances are e-money issued in collaboration with a licensed e-money issuer, and wallet limits follow Bank Negara Malaysia requirements. Higher wallet limits are available after customer due diligence and eKYC in the app.

Will I know when my child uses the card or arrives at school?

Purchases appear in the app’s transaction list, and attendance taps appear in the Kehadiran module. Parents receive notifications for attendance and purchases through the app.
